How do you replace the throttle cable on the Gilera DNA 50?

In order to replace the accelerator cable of the Gilera DNA 50 it is necessary to loosen the bolts that fix the transmission casing, located on the left side of the motorcycle and in correspondence with the rear wheel. After the casing has been removed, it will be possible to disconnect the end of the cable which is connected to the variator, by pulling it out completely; in this way the other end of the cable connected to the knob can also be detached. Then it will be necessary to insert the new cable, connecting it to the corresponding ends and reassembling the transmission casing.

Change the engine oil and oil filter of the Yamaha FZ1

We are going to illustrate below the step-by-step instructions to replace the engine oil and the oil filter, carrying out the routine maintenance service of the Yamaha FZ1 motorcycle. First of all we go to unscrew the oil vent bolt that we find on the cup, letting it drain in a container for about ten minutes; after which we use the special wrench to unscrew and remove the oil filter, replacing the cartridge with the new one (screwing in by hand and gently tightening). Finally, unscrew the filler cap and top up, using the engine oil with the right characteristics!
