How to install a shutdown button on a Gilera (or Piaggio) scooter: we have the connector that comes from the stator: the green wire will then be attached to the electrical system until it reaches the key switch. We remove a small piece from the green wire, then we wrap the yellow wire together, tape it well, put a cable protector on it, and then heat it to close it well and put it in the protective rubber. We connect the plug and pass the cable - taping it or holding it with a strap so that it does not move - with the handlebar turned all the way to the left and the cable should not be pulled. We position the button by making a small hole and passing the cables held with a screw and a safety strap.

Let's see in this short and simple guide we will see how to carry out the routine maintenance service, replacing the engine oil and the oil filter, of the Sym Jet14 scooter. First we put our scooter on the central stand and start unscrewing the oil vent bolt that we find under the engine, on the left side, using a socket wrench; let the oil drain in a container for about ten minutes. At this point we unscrew the engine oil filler cap and top up; finally, let's check the oil level using the dipstick!
