To create a kill switch for a Gilera (or Piaggio) scooter, locate the connector coming from the stator: the green wire will connect to the electrical system, leading to the ignition switch. Remove a small section of the green wire, then twist the yellow wire together with it, secure with tape, add a cable protector, and heat it to seal it properly before placing it in the protective rubber. Connect the plug and route the wire - securing it with tape or a zip tie to prevent movement - with the handlebars fully turned to the left, ensuring the wire is not pulled. Position the button by making a small hole and passing the wires through, securing them with a screw and a safety tie.
