Arrangement of the main components of a Gilera Nexus 500

In this video, we see the arrangement of all the main components of the Gilera Nexus 500, which we cannot see well with the fairing on: The coolant tank is located near the right handlebar; the water pump is on the right side of the scooter, at the bottom; the thermostat valve is on the left side, near the spark plug, while the coil is also on the same side but more towards the rear; the adjustable suspension is located under the seat; the fuel tank float is in the center, not far from the cap. The lambda sensor is on the right side of the scooter, not far from the oil fill cap. The control units are all near the handlebars; on the left, below the handlebars, there is the fuse box and the plugs for the headlights and turn signals; in the center under the seat we find the battery and just above the filter; in the center at the bottom we find the horn, and in the center at the back the radiator fan. Under the exhaust we find the oil filter; at the front behind the horn we find the voltage regulator.

How to change the engine oil of the Kawasaki KLX 110?

In order to change the engine oil of the Kawasaki KLX 110 you must first loosen the screws that secure the skid plate in the lower part of the vehicle, so that it is completely removed. Once the plate has been removed, the oil drain plug can be unscrewed, collecting all the used oil in a suitably positioned container. In front of the drain plug it will be possible to find the oil filter which must be removed from its housing by unscrewing its fixing plate and replacing it with a new piece. After having also mounted the skid plate, it will be possible to pour the new oil from the hole in the upper part of the crankcase on the right side of the bike.
