Today we will proceed with the battery replacement on a Harley Davidson Sportster motorcycle independently. To perform the battery replacement, we need to remove the seat by unscrewing the bolt at the back and removing the seat; then we remove the side cover of the body to access the battery. We unscrew the battery fixing bolt and disconnect the power fuse. We remove the locking bracket and disconnect the negative terminal and the positive terminal, using a wrench. We remove the battery and insert the new one. We connect the positive terminal and the negative terminal and then insert the locking bracket. We connect the power connector and the fuse to resume the operation of the motorcycle. We mount the side cover and the seat to complete the replacement.

Replacing the battery in the Yamaha FZ6, as shown in this tutorial, is a very simple and quick operation. First, ensure that the key is not inserted, then remove the rider's seat and, using a 10mm socket spanner, loosen the bolt on the tank hinge. Next, unscrew both the front bolts and the fairing mounting bolts, lift the entire tank, and disconnect both terminals starting with the negative. At this point, you can remove the upper plastic plate, take the battery out of its housing, and fit the replacement.
