Descriptive guide for replacing the air filter on a Harley Davidson Road King. Obtain an air filter 29461-99 and carburettor cleaner spray. Position the bike on its side stand. The horizontally oval air filter is located on the right side, between the two cylinder heads. Using a 6mm Allen key, undo the screw securing the chrome cover of the filter. Be careful not to lose the rubber gasket between the Allen screw and the cover and the gasket of the cover. Using a 20 Torx key, undo the three screws securing the air filter (mark the position of the filter with a marker to aid in fitting the new one). If the throttle body is dirty, clean it with a cloth and carburettor cleaner spray. Replace the air filter and reassemble everything as per disassembly.
