Descriptive guide for replacing the air filter of a Harley Davidson Road King. Get a 29461-99 air filter, throttle body spray. Place the motorcycle on the side stand. The horizontal oval air filter is located on the right side, between the two cylinder heads. Unscrew the support screw of the chrome filter cover with an Allen wrench size 6. Be careful not to lose the rubber gasket between the Allen screw and the cover and the cover gasket. Using a 20mm torx wrench, unscrew the three air filter support screws (mark the position of the filter with a felt-tip pen to make it easier to refit the new one). If the throttle valve is dirty, clean with a cloth and throttle body spray. Replace the air filter and reassemble everything as per disassembly.
