The tappets are interposed between the camshaft and the valves. They are assembled on the engine block by four simple screws. Then unscrew them, then use a plastic hammer to loosen the tappets, which otherwise will not move from their seat, and slide out by inserting two fingers in the two holes and keeping them bumped against the guides. Remove all damaged gaskets. Remove the second guide by repeating the procedure, clean the tappet area and re-insert them in reverse order. If you are not changing the tappets, but are just cleaning them and then putting the guides back on, remember to insert the pieces exactly where you extracted them, do not change them between them!

In today's video tutorial we will see the steps on how to disassemble and replace the wheel and front tire of the Harley Davidson Sportster motorcycle, following the instructions below. First of all we put the stand on our motorbike and we begin to lift the front wheel from the ground; after which we unscrew the fixing screws of the brake caliper, in order to remove it from the disc, as shown in the video. At this point we unscrew the central pin of the wheel, in order to remove it; then let's proceed with the replacement of the front tire, following the video tutorial to the end!
