In this video tutorial we will see how to disassemble, in simple steps and with the use of a screwdriver, the seat of a Harley Davidson Street 500, but also on other models of the manufacturer. First of all we are going to remove the fixing screws that we find in the middle of the saddle, using a Phillips screwdriver; then we remove our saddle, releasing it gently, as shown in the video. At this point we have access to various parts of our bike; from the battery to the tank fixing screws. To reassemble the saddle, simply put it back in place and tighten the fixing screws.

How do you change the engine oil of the BMW R 1200 GS?

The replacement of the engine oil of the BMW R 1200 GS is carried out by loosening the bolts that secure the skid plate positioned in the lower part of the bike. Once this plate has been removed, it will be possible to unscrew the drain plug below, so that the used oil can be collected inside a suitably positioned container. Next to the drain plug you will find the oil filter, which in turn must be extracted and replaced with a new one. After the replacement, it will be possible to top up from the special vent on the crankcase to the left of the bike.
