Let's first go to the right side of the bike, then locate the filter housing cover and remove the single central bolt. Then unscrew the other three bolts, remove the filter from the box and clean it of any dirt residue. At this point we can insert the spare part and follow the reverse procedure to reassemble everything.

Change the Ducati Hypermotard engine oil and oil filter

Below we will see the main steps that will allow us to carry out the routine maintenance service, replacing the engine oil and oil filter of the Ducati Hypermotard motorcycle. First of all we put the stand on our motorbike and we begin to unscrew the vent bolt that we find under the engine, letting it drain in a container for about ten minutes; then we go and unscrew the oil filter cartridge, screwing the new one by hand and then gently tighten it, as shown in the video. Finally, unscrew the filler cap and top up again!
