Follow this guide for the main instructions on how to remove and replace the rear brake pads on the Harley Davidson Softail motorcycle, using these simple steps. First, put the side stand down and start unscrewing the bolts securing the rear brake caliper with a socket spanner; then remove the caliper and take out the pads located inside, as shown in the video. At this point, clean the caliper from any residual dirt and press to retract the piston; then install the new pads!
