Below are the main steps to remove and replace the rear wheel and tyre of a Harley Davidson Softail. First, place the bike on a stand and start by removing the cotter pin from the central wheel nut; also unscrew the bolts of the rear brake caliper to detach it from the disc, as shown in the video.

At this point, use a socket spanner to unscrew the wheel nut, then remove the wheel from the rear swingarm; replace the tyre if necessary, applying the reverse procedure for reassembly!
