To change the engine oil on a Harley Davidson Touring, loosen the drain plug located at the bottom of the bike's oil tank. Once this is unscrewed, allow all the used oil to flow into a suitably positioned container until it has completely drained. After collecting the oil, remove the oil filter from the housing on the right side of the bike and replace it with a new one. After replacement, pour the new oil through the breather located on the right side of the bike.
