First, ensure the engine is cold enough, then position a container under the bike, open the filler cap, and, loosening the relevant clamp, disconnect the indicated lower hose.

Allow all the oil in the system to drain out, unscrew the old filter using the appropriate tool, tighten the replacement, and reconnect the hose. Finally, pour in the new oil through the designated hole.
