In order to replace the motor oil of the Harley Davidson Sportster, you need to loosen the screws that secure the drain plug of the oil pan: this plug will be located in the central lower part of the motorcycle. Once this has been loosened, you can collect all the used oil inside a properly positioned container; when the oil has completely drained out, you can remove the oil filter in the front part of the engine block. Once the new filter has been inserted, you can top up the oil by pouring it in through the vent on the left side of the motorcycle.
