The Honda SH 300 features a warning light on the instrument panel that alerts the owner when it's time for an oil change. If you perform the oil change at home or simply want to turn off the light, turn on the ignition and press and hold both the trip and clock buttons on the panel simultaneously for a few seconds until the light goes out. The light will automatically illuminate every 3,728 miles, so if you change the oil early, it will still come on after reaching 3,728 miles since the last reset. In this case, just reset it by following the procedure described above without changing the oil again.
