How to reset the Honda SH 300i Oil Change light?

In order to reset the Honda SH 300i Oil Change warning light, you need to turn on the instrument panel to see that the warning light has actually come on. Once you have ascertained that this is on, you will need to turn off the instrument panel and hold down the button located on the right side of the instrument panel: holding it down, you will have to turn the key clockwise and then switch the ignition on again. Waiting for a few seconds, the warning light will switch off automatically and disappear from the panel; by turning the instrument panel off and on again, it will be possible to verify that the reset has taken place correctly.
