Today, you will learn how to change the engine oil and oil filter on your Honda Hornet 600. This is a fairly simple operation that anyone can do without professional help. First, unscrew the oil filler cap to facilitate the oil drainage.

Now, unscrew the drain plug and let the engine oil flow out (it is advisable to use a container to avoid making a mess). While the oil is draining, remove the filter with the help of a chain spanner, and install a new one. Finally, reinstall the drain plug and add oil through the filler cap.
