Remove the upper cover by unscrewing the two Torx T30 screws that secure the upper cover of the top box; once the screws are removed, gently pull off the cover, leveraging the plastic clips that hold it; be careful not to break them. Remove the side covers (also secured with clips).

Now we see the piston: unlock the metal tongue locks by leveraging with a screwdriver. Remove the piston and replace it with the new one; insert the lower attachment first, then the upper one, lock the latches, reassemble the side covers, then the upper one, and securely screw in the two Torx T30 screws.
