Warm up the engine for a few minutes before the procedure, in order to make the oil less viscous and therefore more liquid, favoring its subsequent leakage. For the same reason, first unscrew the top cap of the engine oil compartment in order to avoid vacuum. The oil drain bolt, which as you can see in the video is obviously located under the bike, can be unscrewed with a 17 socket wrench. The oil filter is located behind the front wheel and can be unscrewed with a 65 mm filter wrench . Lubricate the O-R of the new filter before fitting it. After draining the oil and changing the filter, tighten the drain bolt and load the new lubricant into the compartment and replace the cap.

How do I replace the Harley Davidson Tri Glide air filter?

In order to replace the Harley Davidson Tri Glide air filter, you need to remove the chrome cover located in the upper part of the crankcase cover on the right side of the bike. Once this part has been removed, it will be possible to access the central screw that fixes the crankcase cover: by unscrewing it, it will be possible to remove the crankcase and access the filter below. This can therefore now be removed from its housing so that a new one can be inserted; after this has been inserted, it will be possible to close everything by fixing the crankcase cover.
