Warm the engine for a few minutes before starting the procedure to make the oil less viscous and easier to drain. For the same reason, first unscrew the upper cap of the engine oil compartment to avoid creating a vacuum. The oil drain bolt, which is located underneath the bike, can be unscrewed with a 17 mm socket. The oil filter is located behind the front wheel and can be unscrewed with a 65 mm filter wrench. Lubricate the O-ring of the new filter before fitting it. After draining the oil and changing the filter, tighten the drain bolt and add the new lubricant to the compartment, then replace the cap.
