How to tell if the starter motor brushes on Honda Silver Wing are worn out

To understand if the brushes of the Honda Silver Wing are finished, we must look at the engine, remove the cap from the contactor, which has the input, which comes from the 12V battery and the output which goes to the starter. Without having to start the bike, just make contact between the two poles with a screwdriver, and we see that the starter motor does not start: this is already an important sign. To be sure, we have to take a piece of iron, place it on the motor and join the two poles with the usual screwdriver. If the starter motor starts by tapping, it means 100% that the brushes are finished. This forced starting does it 4/5 times, then the brushes have to be replaced.

How to replace the front brake pads of the Peugeot Viva City

In today's video tutorial we will see the instructions that will allow us to disassemble and replace the front brake pads of the Peugeot Viva City scooter. First we put our scooter on the central stand and start unscrewing the fixing screws of the front brake caliper; after which we remove the caliper from the disc, in order to also remove the old pads, as shown in the video. At this point we clean the caliper from dirt and press the caliper piston to make it re-enter; then we install the new pads and reassemble the brake caliper!
