This brief video will illustrate the steps to perform the routine maintenance service by changing the engine oil and oil filter on the Honda CB 500 motorcycle. First, place your motorcycle on a stand and start unscrewing the oil drain bolt located under the engine, allowing it to drain into a container for about ten minutes; then unscrew the oil filter cartridge and replace it with a new one (screw it in by hand and tighten it gently).

Finally, unscrew the filler cap and top up by pouring in the appropriate oil (as indicated in the owner's manual).

How to Remove the Engine from the KTM XC-W 300?

To remove the engine from the KTM XC-W 300, loosen the bolts that secure it to its housing in the centre of the frame: once the support bolts are removed, proceed to loosen the bolts securing the exhausts and then disconnect all related connectors. At this point, remove the pin and ring that secure the piston to the connecting rod: you can now access the crankshaft and all other internal components. After any necessary replacement, reassemble the engine to ensure everything functions correctly.
