To check the oil level of the Honda CB 500F, look at the right side of the bike, corresponding to the casing that contains the engine oil: at the bottom left of the casing, you will notice a small glass area, from which you can see the oil level inside the reservoir. This should be between the minimum and maximum levels indicated by the corresponding lines above and below the glass area: you will need to add engine oil when the level is below the minimum.

How to replace the engine oil in the Kawasaki Versys 1000?

As we can see in this tutorial, replacing the motor oil in the Kawasaki Versys 1000 is an extremely simple and fast operation. First of all, make sure that the engine is cool enough, then position a container under the motorcycle and, using a socket wrench, unscrew the drain plug. Wait for all the oil in the system to completely drain out, remove the lower front cover and unscrew the old filter.
