Today's procedure will show you how to perform routine maintenance by changing the engine oil and oil filter on the Honda CB 500F motorcycle. First, place the bike on a stand and start unscrewing the oil drain bolt located under the engine, allowing it to drain into a container for about ten minutes; then unscrew the oil filter cartridge with the appropriate tool, as shown in the video.

Next, unscrew the filler cap and top up with new engine oil, filling to the maximum level mark on the crankcase.
