Today, we will guide you through the necessary steps to service the Honda CB 500F, replacing the engine oil and oil filter. First, place your bike on a stand and begin draining the engine oil by undoing the drain bolt; let it drain into a container for about ten minutes.

Next, unscrew the oil filter cartridge using the appropriate tool, replacing it with a new one (screw it in by hand and tighten gently); unscrew the fill bolt and top up the oil!
