To change the engine oil of a Honda ST 1300, start by warming up the engine for a few minutes to make the oil more fluid and facilitate its drainage. After turning off the engine, lift the motorcycle using a centre stand or motorcycle lift, ensuring it is stable.

Locate the oil drain plug, situated under the engine. Position a container under the plug to collect the used oil. Unscrew the plug and allow the oil to drain completely.

Once the oil has fully drained, refit the drain plug with a new gasket if necessary. Then proceed to fill the engine with new oil through the filler cap, using the specific oil for the ST 1300 model.

After adding the oil, start the engine and let it run for a short period to circulate the oil, then turn it off and check the level to ensure it is correct. Complete the process by replacing the filler cap and check for any leaks.
