Replacement of Internal Door Handle

Model: Honda Civic MK 7 - Years 2001-2006

If you want to replace one of the internal door handles of the front door of your Honda Civic (models from 2001 to 2005), this tutorial will guide you through the correct procedure. Using a small flathead screwdriver, lift the cover located inside the small compartment of the handle and unscrew the two screws inside: remove the handle block and, with the help of a screwdriver, detach it from the door; also disconnect the small electrical connector. Using a screwdriver, unscrew the screws from the block just removed to possibly remove the "lock" button. Once you have a new handle, reattach it as before to the vehicle and place it back in its compartment, screw in the two securing screws, and replace the small cover.
