Dismantling the rear-view mirror of the Civic? Remove the door panel to disconnect the electrical connector attached to the mirror. Use a lever to remove the internal trim of the mirror (there are plastic clips) and unscrew the securing bolts with a socket spanner. Once the securing bolts are removed, take out the mirror with the adjustment wires from the car door. Fit the mirror with the bolts, the adjustment wires, and the plastic trim into the door panel. First, feed the wires into the door and then secure the mirror.
