Replacing Indicator Bulb on Honda Civic Wing Mirror

Model: Honda Civic MK 8 - Years 2006-2012

Use a plastic wedge (or a small flat-head screwdriver if necessary, but the wedge is preferable) and lever in the lower gap of the cover, as shown in the video. Perform this operation carefully to release the mirror cover from the supporting structure. Once done, disconnect the indicator connector and unscrew the Torx screws that secure the light to the cover. At this point, replacing the indicator bulb will be straightforward. Proceed in reverse for complete reassembly: screw the light back onto the cover and insert it back into place by hand.
