How to Repair the External Mirror of the Honda Civic 8

This video shows how to repair the external rear-view mirror of the Honda Civic 8. This tutorial is useful if the mirror's closure starts to malfunction or fails completely. To replace the mirror mechanism, first remove the outer cover by pulling it outward, being careful not to damage the wiring for the indicator. After removing the cover, use a flathead screwdriver to gently pry out the movement device. Once extracted, disconnect the wires. After removal, you can proceed with the replacement or repair. To repair it, you will need the appropriate fuse; to replace it, dig around it to extract the old fuse and insert the new one, sealing it to prevent movement when in the mirror. At this point, simply reconnect it and refit it into its housing before closing the mirror.
