Complete Removal of Rear View Mirror on Honda Civic

Model: Honda Civic MK 10 - Years 2016-2021

Using a plastic trim tool, gently extract the mirror from its housing, which will disengage from the rear clips. Keep in mind that there are two connectors attached to the mirror, so do not pull too hard immediately. After disconnecting the connectors, you can proceed to fully remove the mirror. Once done, unscrew the exposed T20 Torx screw. This secures the cover along with the two black clips. Use the trim tool again to leverage the surrounding gap and push the clips for the removal of the cover. Proceed in reverse for reassembly.
