Front Suspension Wishbone Ball Joint Replacement

Model: Honda Civic MK 5 - Years 1992-1995

The ball joint of the front suspension wishbone is pressed into the front hub; therefore, to replace it, you need to free the hub to apply a puller. Lift the vehicle on suitable axle stands, remove the front wheel, the brake caliper, the disc, the driveshaft nut, and the nut securing the ball joint to the wishbone. Using a forked lever, detach the ball joint from the wishbone and use a puller to remove it from the hub; to fit the new ball joint, use a C-clamp and appropriately sized bushes.
