This guide shows how to remove the fuel pump from a Honda HR-V Mk2. The first step to extract the fuel pump is to lift the rear seat cushion and open the inspection cover of the fuel tank. At this point, disconnect the electrical power connector and the fuel lines; be cautious of any fuel spillage. Using a special tool to unscrew the locking ring, or a screwdriver, unscrew the locking ring of the assembly and extract the pump. Be careful of any trapped fuel in the assembly and replace the part with the new element. Reassemble everything in position and turn on the ignition a few times to properly fill the lines.
