Learn how to install a child seat on ISOFIX anchors, which are standard on all vehicles, not just on the Honda Jazz shown in the video. Consult the manual to locate the anchors, which are often found at the junction between the backrest and the seat base of the rear seat, and are two U-shaped bars. In many cars, the anchors are visible; in others, they may be covered by a flap or a plastic button that you will need to push away. Place the child seat on the rear seat, pull the levers or buttons on the seat to extend the two ISOFIX connectors fully; push the seat back and down so that the connectors latch onto the car's ISOFIX bars; check that it is securely attached. Many seats have an indicator that changes from red to green, and when pulled firmly, the seat should not move. For optimal stability, ISOFIX seats have a third anchorage point that can be higher, with a strap that comes from the top of the seat back and must be attached to a point on the rear seat or in the boot; alternatively, a support leg, which is an adjustable leg that fixes to the floor of the car. The seat is removed by pressing the orange button on each ISOFIX connector simultaneously.
