How to replace the power steering pump in the Honda Accord?

Model: Honda Accord MK 8 - Years 2008-2013
Part: Pump

In this tutorial we can see how to replace the power steering pump in the Honda Accord, a very simple operation. First of all, make sure the engine is cold, then open the hood and remove the cover. Next, grab the tensioner with a 14mm socket wrench, loosen the tension by moving it and remove the drive belt. Then unscrew the mounting bolts of the pump, separate it from the engine, disconnect the two tubes and quickly connect them to the new pump, being careful not to spill too much fluid. At this point, all that remains is to reassemble everything, start the engine, turn the steering wheel right and left for a few minutes, and top up the amount of fluid lost during the operation.
