Replacement of Power Steering Pump

Model: Honda Accord MK 7 - Years 2002-2007

The power steering pump is located on the left side of the engine bay (when facing the front), near the windscreen washer fluid reservoir. Start by removing the drive belt from the pump; use a hose clamp on the oil return pipe to prevent leakage after disconnecting it from the pump by loosening the relevant clip; then remove the high-pressure pipe and the pump's mounting bolts (move the oil reservoir to facilitate removal); proceed in reverse for the installation of the new pump, ensuring the pipes are connected correctly and check the oil level.
