To replace the engine on a Husaberg FE 400, you must first remove the fairings located on the side of the bike. To do this, you will need to undo the screws securing the seat, remove it, and loosen the screws holding the fairings.

Once these are completely removed, you can undo the bolts securing the engine mounts, remove them, and disconnect the connectors attached to the engine. The engine can then be extracted from its housing to be replaced with a new one.
