Start the engine for several minutes; you can either take it for a ride or let it run stationary. The important thing is to warm the oil so it becomes less viscous and easier to drain. Unscrew the bolt related to the drain hole located on the left side of the bike (see video). Collect the used oil in a container. Meanwhile, unscrew the oil filter and check its condition. It is recommended to use 15W-50 lubricant for this model of bike. Measure the amount of oil drained and prepare the same amount of new lubricant to insert through the fill hole.

How to reset the oil light on the Honda SH 125

If the oil light appears on your Honda SH 125 dashboard despite having recently changed the oil, don't worry as you can resolve this minor issue with a simple manual reset procedure. First, turn on the ignition and hold down the "Info A" and "Info B" buttons located at the bottom of the left knob. At this point, press the "Info B" button multiple times until the oil change indicator starts to flash. Finally, press the "Info A" button once to perform the reset. The procedure is now complete.
