To replace the piston on a Husqvarna WR 250, first loosen all the screws securing the seat and side fairings to gain access to the components beneath the seat. At this point, you can loosen the mounting screws that secure the cylinder, disconnect it from its connectors, and remove it completely. Once the cylinder is removed, you can slide out the pin that secures the connecting rod to the piston and remove the piston. After the piston has been removed, you can replace it and reinsert the cylinder into its housing.
