Video tutorial

Let's see how to replace the engine air filter on a Hyundai Tucson MK3. The filter is located in the engine compartment on the right side, hidden inside a black plastic box (the air box) from which a large flexible hose exits. Open the bonnet, locate the air box, and lift the snap clips holding the cover.

Sometimes there are screws, which you will unscrew and set aside. Lift the cover and remove the old filter, clean the box avoiding compressed air that could push dirt into the intake hose.

Wipe with a clean cloth and remove all dust. Insert the new filter and check that it is oriented correctly, then you can close the air box and then the bonnet.
