IVECO Daily - Video tutorial

Model: IVECO Daily MK 3 - Years 1999-2006
Part: Brake pads
Operation: Replacement of brake pads on Iveco Daily

Replacing the disc and pads on an Iveco Daily? We disassemble the rear disc. Lift the back of the Daily with a jack, remove the rim (with a telescopic wrench or compressed air drill) with the respective pins. We unscrew the locking pin of the brake caliper, remove the same from the caliper support. We remove the caliper support from the wheel hub with a socket wrench. Once the brake disc is free, we go to unscrew the big central nut with a spanner and remove the disc from the wheel hub. We disassemble the various wiring and brake fluid hoses from the wheel body. Let's replace them with new parts (we always mount original and compliant parts) Let's get ready to mount the new disc with relative pads, brake caliper, caliper support, etc. We assemble all the previously disassembled pieces.

First of all we lift the car and go to locate the gear oil vent bolt, which we find near the transmission; we use a hex wrench to unscrew it, letting it drain the old oil in a container for about ten minutes. At this point we open the bonnet and remove the air intake sleeve, so as to be able to access the gearbox oil filling hole; then we fill up to the maximum level!
