How do you replace the pollen filter on a Jaguar X Type? Follow these steps to remove the filter from its housing: use a screwdriver to remove the plastic rivets from the trim under the front windscreen, then pry off the filter cover (where the air filter is located) with a lever. Remove the cap from the filter housing with a screwdriver and extract the cabin air filter. Insert a new filter, ensuring it fits snugly against the walls of the box. Finally, refit the cap of the filter box and tighten the rivets. Close the bonnet after maintenance.
