How to replace the brake pads of the Jeep Grand Cherokee

Replacing the parking brake pads on the Jeep Cherokee is a somewhat complex operation to perform. We begin the replacement by lifting the vehicle in order to have easier access to the pads. We remove the left front wheel and, with a socket wrench, unscrew the bolts of the brake caliper, detaching it from the support. We release the pressure from the caliper, remove the support, and unscrew the bolts on the disc brake in order to remove it. Using a wire brush, we clean the rust from the rod and then lubricate the mechanism well before inserting the new system. We mount the pads and bolts, and then the caliper support. Once finished, we remount the wheel and lower the vehicle back to the ground.
