To open the fuel filler cap on the Jeep Compass from the outside is a straightforward operation. Go to the rear right side of the vehicle; to open the fuel filler, apply a light pressure on the fuel flap near the right rear headlamp, and the fuel flap will protrude outward. Then, open the fuel flap with your hands. To close it, guide the flap until it stops, then apply a light pressure on the fuel flap near the right rear headlamp to close it.
