How do you open the fuel filler flap to refuel? Let's see how to unlock the fuel flap on the Jeep Compass. Open the fuel flap located on the left side of the car's body: press the flap with your fingers to unlock it. Once the flap is open, you will find the filler neck where you insert the nozzle to refuel. After refuelling, close the fuel flap by pressing it until it fully locks (press the flap until you hear a click).
