The guide shows you how to replace the Jeep Compass timing belt. After having raised the nose of the vehicle safely, remove the right wheel and open the engine hood. Using a 16mm wrench, unscrew the retaining bolt of the tension pulley and pull off the old timing belt. Insert the new timing belt, carefully following the installation diagram. Loosen the belt tensioner again to insert it into the last pulley. Check the correct positioning of the belt and refit the wheel. Lower the vehicle and check the correct functioning of the vehicle.
