This guide shows how to open the bonnet of the Jeep Wrangler Mk3 engine compartment. The operation to open the engine compartment is very simple and quick. The first step is to unlock the two clip fasteners located on the front side of the hatch. Lower the lever and disengage the fastening loop of the hatch. From the gap created between the front of the vehicle and the bonnet, disengage the safety pin by rotating it. Lift the bonnet and secure it in the safety position using the fixing rod attached to the hatch.
