Guide to Replacing the Timing Belt

Model: Jeep Grand Cherokee WK, WH, MK 3 - Years 2004-2010
Part: Timing belt

The video shows how to replace the timing belt of your car, step by step.
It is advisable to carry out this operation every 50,000-62,000 miles, and certainly before the old belt fails to avoid further costly repair issues.
To remove the old piece, apply clockwise leverage on the flywheel as shown in the video, which will allow the spring that keeps the belt tensioned to loosen and enable extraction.
You can now insert the new belt using the same method illustrated previously and shown in the video.

This procedure is valid only for the Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.7 V8.

How to Remove the Engine Oil Filter of the Peugeot 308

How do you remove the engine oil filter of the Peugeot 308? Follow this guide to proceed with the replacement. Open the car door and pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, then lift the front bonnet and secure it. Using a socket wrench, unscrew the large securing bolt of the container cap where the oil filter is located (engine compartment under the ventilation pipe). Drain the used oil from under the engine sump. Remove the worn oil filter and position a new one, ensuring it adheres well around the walls of the housing. Finally, refit the ventilation pipe and top up the engine oil. Close the front bonnet last.
