In this tutorial we can see how to replace the spark plugs in the Kawasaki Z1000, a very simple operation. First of all, we wait for the engine to cool down sufficiently, then we remove both the passenger seat and the driver's seat. We then remove both side panels, disconnect the various fuel lines and lift the tank after unscrewing the rear bolt. At this point we can remove the intake manifold, extract the coils and unscrew the spark plugs using the appropriate 16mm socket wrench. To install the new parts, simply follow the reverse procedure.
