To change the motor oil of a Kawasaki Z1000, it is necessary to make sure that the motorcycle is securely positioned on a stand. Start by slightly warming up the engine to fluidify the oil, but avoid it becoming too hot. Once ready, locate the drain plug under the engine and place a suitable container to collect the used fluid. Carefully unscrew the plug, allowing the oil to drain completely. Make sure the tank is empty and check for any residues. Once finished, securely screw the drain plug back on and use a funnel to pour in the new oil, respecting the level indicated in the manual. After completing the filling, start the engine for a few minutes, turn it off and recheck the oil level, adding more if necessary. The motorcycle will then be ready to be used in optimal conditions.
