Replacing the engine oil in the Kawasaki Vulcan 1700, as we can see in this tutorial, is an extremely simple and quick operation. First of all, we wait for the engine to be cold enough, then we position a container underneath the motorcycle, locate the drain hole bolt and unscrew it using a 17mm socket wrench. We then let all the oil in the system drain out, unscrew the old filter, and tighten both the replacement and the bolt. At this point, all that's left to do is pour the new oil through the designated top hole.
