In order to replace the levers of the Kawasaki Z900, you need to loosen the bolts that fix the lever to the side of the handlebars, so that it can be removed from its housing: once the lever is detached, you can also loosen the bolt that secures the brake or clutch cable connected to the lever. This way you can proceed by completely removing the old lever and inserting the new one: the new lever can be fixed with the corresponding bolt to ensure that everything works correctly.
